I hate touch-screens. I prefer candy bar Smartphone. I had an Sony Erricsson k850 which was semi-touch. The T9 was brilliant. Problem was that those 3 touch buttons would turn on my phone without my knowing.
Then the phone fell and broke and I decided to buy a non-touch Nokia E75. It's a disaster. The bottom chrome retouched in 3 months and the Nokia people are out of repair parts. It freezes even after rebooting. The Bluetooth does not connect if you have more than 300 sms in the inbox and sent folder. So I have to delete or save on my computer. Most important sms are in the computer! The SONY-E K850 had close to 3000 sms, and never gave these headaches, except the freezing which could be solved by rebooting. It even would ask if you wanted to put a birthday reminder in a calendar if you enter a date of birth in the contact. No such luck with the E75. Pity S-E is dwindling and becoming more Touch.
I miss my phone. I cannot find it anywhere in South Africa.
